Hey Scott. Yeah, I remember those feelings of... Deadness. Where everything felt so dead that just going to the bathroom was an ordeal, as you say. I don't mean to be dismissive or to imply that I knew the total solution. I have heard what you suggested, too, that sometimes suicides might occur as people start to get better.
I'm coming around to this idea of (at least some) depression being a rational response to an untenable situation. Catatonia or inertia might well be a rational response. Getting better might be... Untenable. Yeah.
