I too am sorry to hear that you've been feeling depressed, Baseball55. As Alexandra_k suggested, finding a new therapist at this point seems like it would be a good idea, especially given the nature of the thoughts that you've been having recently. Hopefully the Parnate that you're taking will also help some, and I think it's likely that it will, given that I think I recall you saying that it's helped you before. If you can't get in to see a therapist soon, perhaps attending support group meetings for people with mood disorders might help to connect you with some others with mood disorders who will listen to you and offer support and understanding. In fact, attending some support group meetings might be a good thing to do even if you can get in to see a therapist soon, because it will give you an opportunity to build the kind of support network that you don't seem to have there for you right now.

Remember also that depression also oftentimes seems to distort the thoughts of the person going through an episode. Some find it helpful to challenge any negative thoughts that they might have and to at least try to find some positive aspects of any negative events that might be occurring. I know that going through depressive phases isn't so much a positive thing in itself, but remember that you've come out of some deep depressive periods already, presumably with the help of therapy and medication. So, perhaps looking at your past successes at getting through periods of depression might be something that you can hold onto and might also be a source of hope that you'll make it through this bout of depression.

All in all, it sounds like you've taken a good first step in getting back on Parnate, and I think that at this point it would serve you well to take things a little further and surround yourself with individuals who will stand to improve your psychological well being. You don't necessarily have to listen to everything I've written here if you don't find it helpful, but if there's one thing that I think you need right now, it's support from individuals looking to help lift you up.

I hope that you'll find yourself feeling better -- or at least feeling understood -- before too long.
