It all depends if you have litter tray issues. My two males could not agree which one was alpha. Steaming piles of poo left unburied Adjacent to the box. 2 trays helped. My one cat is in the garage all night (in a tropical climate) so the second box was for days when we couldn't let her in there. Now it has evolved into that pee and poo thing.

Cannot figure out my cat. Love her purrs, they sound very sincere.
