Hi PC,
I got a reject letter, yesterday, from one of them. How old fashioned, usually I get an email or hear nothing at all.
The other one I was supposed to hear by last Friday if I got a second interview, so it doesn't appear that I will.
Today I wasted three hours attending a mandatory State Unemployment benefits how to find a job seminar. I get interviews, I don't get jobs, my T thinks it's because I don't smile enough, but I'm making a conscious effort to smile and nod my head and appear engaged in conversation.
I have another interview next Tuesday and I'm going to practice smiling, even if it's just to the grocery bagger. I wish I had a good answer as to why I left my last job, I can't very well say I accepted a job where I was fired in less than 30 days. I told the truth to a head hunter and she said don't say that, say you left for personal reasons and the situation will not occur again.
I hope this one is the one, I've been unemployed for almost a year. I wish I was eligible for disability, you'd think 18 job interviews and no offers would suffice that my mental health isn't the best right now.
