Hello!
I have no power, no Internet and cell (at home), no heat. We have wires and a big tree down (didn't hit the house).
I saw the manhattan skyline last night... Lower manhattan in the dark, really something to behold. The biggest problem is/was the storm surge. Some areas just are devastated by flooding. The national guard is here.
Some people here have power, a lot don't. The lines for gas are ridiculous. Mass transit in NYC is nowhere close to functional, tunnels have flooded, it's going to be a while!
Cell service is spotty in the ny metro area. I still haven't heard from friends near the water. I just hope they weren't flooded.
Let us not do this again.
On the other hand, you have different fingers.
