I wonder if it about accepting being ordinary?
The Chuang Tzu has a wonderful passage about how we should willingly bear disgrace and humiliation, and answering his own question as to what this means says 'accept being ordinary'.
The life that is given to us is free.
I was driving early yesterday and there was a magnificent sunrise to my left which made me think of hallucinogenic drugs, I kept wanting to look at the shades of red, some were so deep and there were bits of gold there too, and I thought of humans being ridiculous, surrounded by all this.
