Well, if we had to do it ourselves, the house would fall down, I think.
After the last big repair, I don't know that we can really afford it any more. Which I know is why my husband is tense about it. And I'm sympathetic. I don't like debt either. I'm definitely cutting back on my expenses. I can see getting depressed.
I suppose my son and I are just pretty sensitive to moods, and tense and angry feels like tense and angry whether it's directed to us or not. My son gets upset which upsets me more. My husband thinks we're too sensitive, which may be true.
