Dearest Flutterfly,

Thank you so much for your response. Tears poured down my face (in a good way)when I read your post. I've been through withdrawals enough, so I should be used to this, but it was nice to see someone else who gets it. Lexapro sis? Yes, I guess we are. :-)

And now that I have been through every ssri, and having to go through all of the side effects going on and withdrawals coming off, I'm just tired. My next med will be parnate in a couple of weeks, so as I'm sure you know, I have to be clean of meds for two weeks before taking it. THIS SHOULD BE FUN! YEAH!!!!

My poor hubby doesn't know if he should try to hug me or if he should leave me alone. He feels kind of helpless. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what would be better either.

Very interesting about speaking with the Mayan. Just out of curiosity, what are our 4th and 5th cycles supposed to be and how long is a cycle? I am wondering what each cycle is supposed to represent? Wonder what happens at the end of the 5th? Might be something interesting for me to read up on.

Although I am Buddist, (and since we can agree on how the christian faith misinterprets scriptures)in the Jewish concept of a messiah it was never actually about a person who was suppose to rise and bring forth worldly peace. Jesus, who never, ever denounced his faith and was considered to be a great rabbi and prophet, was speaking out for the rights of his people.

His concern was that the Jewish High Priests in the Temples were "getting slack" so to say, when it came to Jewish law and tradition. Jesus was actually trying to get the Jewish people back in line with the old ways. He was never trying to creat a new religion. (Please before anyone starts fussing at me about this, look it up, it's fact. i.e. The Dead Sea Scrolls) That's why the Christian hierarchy won't even acknowledge them. It would shake the very foundations of Christianity to it's core and that belief system would fall apart.

Anywoo, where I was going with that was that the concept of a "messiah" was not that it is an actual person (although some Jews do believe it is), but that it is something within us all, in our hearts, as humans. We are all the "Messiah" and it is up to us to learn how to bring peace.

My opinion is that our greatest test here on earth is that we all learn to love regardless of our differences and accept each other as we are. If we could find a way to do that, then wouldn't it make since that we would live in a peaceful world, which is what the purpose of the "messiah" is? Unfortunately, our world is failing this test.

-----I've not heard that-- it does sound applicable-- as long as it doesn't cause us to be unappreciative, disrespectful and arrogant in regards to all other creatures that we share the earth with.

Maybe if we could see that we all are spiritual beings and that life and earth have to be in balance to work, then we would understand better how to appreciate and respect nature and all that it stands for. (Starting to sound like a flower child huh?)

---- Oh, I'm so sorry you are having a rough go of it. :o(

Thank you - like I said, today is just a bad day. I am normally not like this, so I know its the meds. Tomorrow will be better. I think that I am more mentally worn out this time rather than physically.

---- I also don't watch the news much-- too depressing and also slanted. I hope your family will be safe.

I just happen to catch a report on CNN about the children who are caught on both sides of this war and suffering miserably. My heart just broke for them and all of this because of peoples different religious beliefs.

---- I think there has always been some kind of fighting all through history-- compassion didn't just recently go.(IMO)... it's still around in small amounts-- all over, in every country. It's easier to hate and destroy because it takes less thought-- aggression is a very immature emotion.... we as humankind overall-- are quite immature.(sadly so)

You would think that after the thousands and thousands of years at war, mankind would get it. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that it is us and only us who can bring the peace.

You can search all through history and no where can you find that the Jews have ever started a war. They just happen to be very good at finishing them.

----- oh a Lexapro sister! ;o) your body could be going through a detoxification process. I think it could help if you exercise every day, and do one thing each day that you feel good about-- maybe reading, baking, drawing-- heck, sometimes I even color in coloring books-- it can be very relaxing and gives me a sense of control.

You are so great!!! I thought I was the only one who still liked to color in coloring books to make myself feel better. LOL!!! (We should start a club) HEE HEE

My hubby says that I have major control issues when it comes to this GAD and that THAT is part of my problem. Thank you for reminding me that its one day at a time and hopefully "inner peace" will find its way back soon.

I think most of the mud is gone now and I'm sure, I pray, that tomorrow will be better. I just lit up about 15 candles all over my living room and I think I'll start a fire in the fire place. (And go get my coloring book and pencils) ;-)

You are a good person.

Namaste'

Courtney
