I also don't think we have much time left, but I kind of cycle from being more or less concerned.
Its only a matter of time IMHO, till neuclear technology gets into the wrong hands.

I don't plan on bringing children into this world for this very reason.
Aynhow, I just try to live each day to its fullest and hope that somobody smart will find the solutions we need.
