Entertaining antisociability

Seeing all the Bryce National Park photos makes me think I would like to see the US.

I like geology, plants and animals, probably in that order, with humans coming a long way last, and our modern western way of life somewhere off the scale down the bottom end.

I mean that's in general or something.
I don't hate everyone in particular.
I try to be nice, even if I don't succeed.
Lots of people are wonderful.
I have never understood why I feel the way I do around them.

Maybe I should change the subject and mention this movie I saw, if only because a little of it is set in Murmansk in 1939.
Like a lot of American movies the cinema photography was (in this case absolutely) excellent, and unusually, the script was OK.
