I was gong to post this this morning but I wanted to make some corrections first. Now that I see your post on Social I understand why it all stood out for me so glaringly.
From this morning:
I keep trying to understand this site, its purpose/intent, how it is run...
With that in mind I do not understand why it is that you as a "deputy" after interpreting the subject matter in a post in a way which led you to believe it would be more suited to have been posted on the political board took it upon yourself to redirect it there.
My interpretation of the post and its accompanying link would have led me to think one might believe it might possibly be redirected to the Faith board, especially after reading the posters stated intent:

On the other hand when I read the description of what the Social board is;
This is a message board for general discussion and support, including "just" being social.
I do not see the post being at odds with the stated intent of the board.I dont know if anyone cares that the thread has been moved. Im just trying to understand the process or policy that enabled the action to take place?
I have seen a lot of discussion about not reading intent from the material in a post most especially by the administration.

Even if the posters statement of intent posted further down the thread had not been read I do believe an examination of intent by the administration by simply questioning the poster might have led to a different action or none at all.This inquiring mind would like to know :-)
