Man, I wrote out this whole post and then accidentally deleted it. I hate that!!! I'll see if I can write it again.
The interview did go well. They seemed VERY impressed with my knowledge about the technical side of things and even commented on it. But there seemed to be some reservations about my creative side. Its something I know I'm perfectly capable of, but my portfolio is somewhat weak in that area (although I do think I have a couple of pieces that show a lot of creativity).
I think I'm definitely in the running, but its by no means a sure thing. I feel like what happens to me all the time is going to happen, I'll be the 2nd choice. The only thing I can think of to do is try to design some samples to email to him to show what I can do.
He said to call him Monday and we would discuss it some more, and then he would make his decision by Thursday. Oh, and I got a thank you card I will send out asap. This job just seems so perfect for me. I think I would actually enjoy it! So keep your fingers crossed.
