Hi Jamal, just wondering how old you are? I would say that if you find the board helpful with information, advice, and support, see if you can explain that to your mother. If she doesn't understand, maybe you just have to agree to disagree. And always remember to take anything you read here with a grain of salt. There are a variety of opinions, and misinformation is always a possibility.
