She could be right... well, maybe about the overall "feel" of info which can be slanted. One does need to be discerning in assessing info quality/truth and, maybe more importantly, how to apply that information to our own very individual situations.
It might be helpful to think that good outcomes and contentment with treatment is not what gets much press on any internet medical related boards, IMO, the flip of that does.... understandable as venting trumps praise.
