Hi Deneb - you sound so happy & positive; it's very nice to see!
I'm afraid that words don't 'smile' for me. I certainly can see the beauty in the snow blowing around etc. We've received alot today also....not the masses that were talked about like heck on the radio yesterday!
Yesterday they were saying to plan to stay put today, so my husband & I did...he went out very briefly to return a movie & buy milk. It felt nice to be in & know it was snowy & that I was staying in.
I remember when I was a kid & there was a HUGE snowstorm. It was probably about 50 years ago or so. The roads were actually snowed in & even snowplows couldn't get through. There were several feet of snow right over the roads! I loved it. Everyone was walking. I remember walking into the town - don't remember if the stores were open. It was a small town, so the people who worked in the stores could have walked to work there.
So far today I think we've had about 6 inches of snow - about 15 cm. That's a LOT for this time of year!
