One of my problems is chronic worry and nervousness, as most of you probably know. And I remember even when I was really little because very scared of everything. I was TERRIFIED out of my mind of UFOs, ghosts, the Soviets (although the Cold War was just about over, this is late 80s, early 90s). I was scared of doors not being locked, for fear of robbers, and a number of other things. Never was scared of silly things like a "boogy monster." I was scared of things adults believed in. TV documentaries put these fears in my head.
This was the precursor to my current fears of God/afterlife and now starting in 2007, certain science experiments.
I'm also very nervous around girls and extremely protective of any girl have feelings for (although I recently found out my main crush from high school might be getting married, I'm taking it well). And I was very very shy when I was a kid and all throughout school.
Did you notice signs of your issues from an early age? Were you nervous/fearful/depressed/whatever early on? Even as a small child?
