I don't want to lower the tone (but I'll do it anyway), but since you mention Elvis..........he had such a great sense of humour (giving Nixon [a pair of?] pistols, getting Nixon to make him an honourary marshall to clean up the drug trade in Memphis) and the best taste in drugs (Dilaudid, cocaine).
I sat through too many Elvis movies as a kid.
