Yes. I was trying to be cheeky with the Celcius/Fahrenheit temps. AFAIK, the U.S. is the only place still using Fahrenheit, and other non-metric scalars.

> Um, -35°C does seem abit chilly.

They updated the forecast to -38 before I went to bed. It's back up to -35 as we speak.

> Well, actually yesterday it was a whole +3°C and, man that felt tropical! It was like 'oh I don't have to cover all my exposed flesh!' and 'wow, I don't have to wear longjohns (you know, leggings undernearth your trousers)'. The sun actually felt warm when it shone on your face!!

That's what I meant about the October sun parallel thingy. If the airmasses weren't so chilled right now, it would be glorious out.

> So all in all, I think this lovely tropical trend is set to continue for us! Although we do tend to have less extreme and more consistent weather that you folks on the North American Continent.

Thanks, of course, to all that American heat exported via the Gulf Stream.

You know, North American weather is really the most extreme on Earth. I think it all stems from having the heat reservoir of the Gulf of Mexico, but I'm just speculating. Anyway, lucky us.
