Phiilipa,If you are reducing benzos, that could definately make one feel out of conrol, very anxious, all kinds of things- worse than before even for a short time- but as you know, it passes. It's helped me before to just remind myself repeatedly that I am experiencing drug effects, I'm not "worse", it's not "me", or any such sort of thing. I'm glad to hear you are still bike riding- maybe ride even more for awhile to help dissapate some of the excess tension? It's helped me before, it's also been a way to clear my head when I've been too worked up to do so by sitting quietly.
