Phillipa,
I'm *always* with my husband.

Well, actually, that's not true. We're trying something new out. It's called- Li spends half of every month with husband. The wonderful thing about my dissertation work is that I can do it anywhere where my laptop can go. I've already done the experiments, and the data analysis and writing is going to work out just fine on my computer.

I do have to spend the rest of the time at the uni, though, because I have seminars and meetings and experiments to run. (and T and pdoc appts too...)

Asian food- we always like to try new dishes. I've spent a fair amount of time in Asia, so has husband. Asian supermarkets tend to have a lot of things that are REALLY CHEAP compared to regular stores.

Cheap things include: fresh or frozen seafood, tea, noodles, produce, obviously any kind of Asian sauce or spice- like teriyaki, soy, etc. Sushi supplies, rice. I have very adventurous tastebuds.

Last night we made seafood soup with lemongrass, squid, tilapia, and shrimp-- absolutely delicious :)

I will most definitely let you know if I go crazy. I doubt it we be related to tea!

-Li
