Racer, if you get cataracts, DO NOT get the multifocal lenses that claim to correct for both distance and near vision. The eye doctor will lie and say they work. Maybe they do for some people. For me, they were a huge uncorrectable mistake. (Uncorrectable, because it's far more dangerous to take them out then to put them in). I want to tell everyone, the ReStor cataract lenses should NEVER have been approved by the FDA and should be banned. Cecilia
