So sorry - I hoped they might waive it.
Yup, Canada is pretty good. If it's a 911 call you have to pay for the ambulance, which I think is $45. but that's it.
Do you have a political representative for your area who you might call? Or the newspaper? It seems a pretty outrageous situation.
