hey there,
well I live in europe (the UK) and people who are married wear their wedding ring on their LEFT hand. So I don't know where you got that idea from!
Actually I just asked my mother and she says that in Germany and Finland at least (she's been married to both a german ,and a Finn!) its on the right hand. But here in the UK its the left.And I have a lesbian friend and she said that some lesbians have taken to wearing a ring on their pinky to indicate that they are lesbian to others.
Oh and most people here wear their engagement and wedding rings together.
