*** 5 hens of various breeds (one lays pale turquoise eggs!!) and one bantam cockeral (sorry rooster) but his legs are too short to get it away with any of the hens, not for want of trying so no chicks.
Then 3 female ducks and 2 male ducks who are always 'at it' so 2 are the ducklings from last year, they've laid 170 eggs so far this year. I don't think I'm going to let them hatch any this year as I've got enough to cope with>I would LOVE to live on a farm again. I grew up on one and, while, my childhood wasn't the best in the world, I do have so many fond memories of the animals that we had.
***Hold on to the good memories, I don't live on a farm (although i would love to) just a largish garden and tolerant neighbours!!
