hi folks! i'm exhausted and iron-deficient, so i guess i'll try and get right to the point..uh, my bf officially enlisted in the army yesterday (active duty) to be a combat engineer...in 2 weeks, he, well, we, are going to missouri, where his basic and AIT training are....he will be in training for a full year! i just know his @ss is gonna be sent to iraq...that he will be exposed to danger. and i won't see him for about 11 weeks initially! i have to find a job in missouri and everything...man. me..a country girl? it'll be like that guy in footloose going to live in the midwest with his loud music and leather jacket..sticking out like a sore thumb.:) i don't know what to think right now...he says he is doing this for us.
and are there any decent jobs in missouri??? anyone have any leads for me...i still don't have a car...not sure how i'd even get to a job w/out bus system..does anyone know anything about midwest/missouri or have any advice or anything??

amyp.s. if this war ever ends, we might actually end up in europe..he is putting in for germany and italy..weehew!:)
p.p.s. also, i wanted to go back to school...how long do you have to live in a particular state before you qualify for financial aid?
