Yes, but I read that Silverstein actually meant it as a sarcastic/ironic discussion of the role women have and take in society. I don't know if that's true...but it changed the way I read the story.
The ones that makes me cry every time: The Velveteen Rabbit. Oh my gosh, I'm going to cry just thinking about it!
