Whoa Spriggy you've certainly been in the wars. Sending you lots of prayers and wishes, lots and lots.
Sorry you had to have a spinal tap, they're nasty things as you've discovered. Really sorry you had to go through that.
Word to the wise. If you're even slightly claustrophobic you might want to ask for a mild sedative before the MRI if you need to have one. My roomy has them for her MS occassionally and says they are much easier to get through with the sedative, and a couple of other people have told me similar stuff.
