I have a song or a snippet of a song going in my head all the time. Literally all the time. The only time it stops is when I'm actively listening to music. I'm a huge record collector and radio listener so I know so many songs. I also have a voice going all the time. I think the song keeps the voice from arguing with itself.

The talking can work me up to violent feelings if I don't pay attention. Visuals are scarier though. Stopping drinking like now, can make it more noticable or intrusive. I wonder why I've never mentioned this to pdoc or therapist?

I also talk out loud when I'm working, or sing, but that feels more normal. One time I was singing to myself quietly at the store, and we were expecting a visit from the district manager. My friend/supervisor thought I was talking to myself and she was scared I was having an angry day. And I had to reassure her. This is funnier than it sounds.
