Because I scarfed down the remainder as a late lunch/early dinner. Fortunately there wasn't much left.
I think maybe it was just severe chili deprivation. My son doesn't like it so I rarely make it. But I decided the other day not to let that stop me. My son doesn't like hardly anything, my husband doesn't like wine or mushrooms, and all my favorite things to cook seem to contain one or more things that someone hates.
So I'll cook boring food most of the time, and serve side plates for them to pick out the stuff they don't like when I cook for me. :)
Chili and strogonoff and goulash and brucciolona (sp?) all remind me of home, where I did the family cooking from my early teens.
Next time I'll be happy to share with you, Tamar. :)
