Yup, they make pretty good games :-)
(and wikipedia has a pretty good article on german boardgames)

Ticket to ride is good. There is a US and a Europe version. You can play the US version online to see if you like it. Hmm.. Where is it??? I think it might be...

I can't play 'cause of the firewall or something... But have played it at my mates house and it is a lot of fun.

Settlers of Catan? Yeah, that one is good. There is another that is pretty good too... Hmm... What is it... Carssacone (not sure how to spell that).
