Not the Usual Board Games

Posted by verne on December 5, 2005, at 19:55:05

Anyone like board games? I used to play them with my daughter and still have a huge collection of rare games - many German.

Now that she's getting married I'm looking for something new the three of us can play. Some eurogames, like "Ticket for Ride" and "Settlers of Canaan"(or something like that) have my eye.

Heroquest is another. I think it's like D&D. I wish I had held on to "Dungeon" by TSR that came out in 1975. Long out of print and impossible to get now. It was a dumbed down Dungeons and Dragons for the causal player like me.

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.

Verne
