i'm not sure... i don't know much about computers so i might be just talking out of my *ss but i had heard... that viruses were invented by mac... um... software developers maybe? they were supposed to be practical jokes. you'd write one and send it to other people in your office and see whether they could solve it or whether you had to tell them how.
i don't think macs have as much of a problem with viruses though...
i worry about microsoft. i worry about the viruses being the best advertising / incentive of all to subscribe to norton antivirus live updates... hmm...

yeah. programs are meant to be expensive too i remember...
still... all i do is word processing and babble and the odd powerpoint. like to learn how to use ppt a bit better actually...
