wish I had any advice, but yes, I do know how you feel. I had to wean myself off of Effexor XR and it was dificult for me, but I didn't have the pdoc visit problem you have.
Is there possibly any way they can call in a refill for you so that you don't have to wean yourself off? Or can you see another doctor?
Do you feel safe going without meds? If yes, than Lar and chemist, et al, can probably help you over on PsychoBabble board. If you don't feel safe, can you go to the Urgent Care center and ask them to reassess you and prescribe?
Only you know the answers to these questions. I wish you the best of luck no matter what you decide to do.
