H, that really gets my blood boiling. It is: a) negligent; b) incompetent; c) negligent and incompentent, to leave a patient in such a bind.

If the doctor can't book appointments to fall near the expiry date for a prescription they wrote, they should lose the ability to write them in the first place.

Note: I said near the expiry. The prescription should never be allowed to expire without proper reassessment and revision of the treatment plan.
