I had a temp job in a kitchen once, and I had to start at 6am. Fortunately it transpired that I had no aptitude for the work; I can barely peel a potato without cutting myself. So they let me go and I found something more suitable (secretarial work; 9am start). In my current job I'm normally at work by 9 or 9:30.
How late do you finish? I hope they don't expect you to work till 7.30 at night!
