Controversy...

Posted by alexandra_k on May 15, 2005, at 20:52:19

Is controversy bad???
Because people do have a tendancy to get upset
And from there tend to disintegrate into attacks against persons
But the chain isn't cast in stone
The move from one step to the next is not inevitable
But it is rational to take irrational responses into account when they are fairly likely to occur
Is it better to avoid controversy???

Support on the one hand
Education on the other
Controversy can be the start of learning
To look at the arguments on each side
And figure out for oneself what is most convincing.
But sometimes questioning isn't allowed.
Questioning gets vanished

Maybe it is just a poor fit
That is nobodies fault
But it hurts
