If I went out and bought a mouse I'd have the techno-nazis on my back too - for a non authorised installation. Worse that school isn't it? Just gotta love large multinationals.
Somehow I think it's more me than the living arrangements that's the problem. Have enough trouble just living with myself ;-)
Yeah, gotta say say no-one has ever accused me of being either typical or normal. Plenty of other things, but never typical or normal :-) But my dog loves me (I think) and my current objective is to become even half as good a person as she thinks I am.

Gee, and to think I thought you were being deadly serious about the slepping in the lounge thing ;-). Honestly, it'd creep me out severely. Is that too weird? Last time I saw Katie's mum, Michelle, (another rescue mission) just sleeping in the guest room for a few days freaked me out, and I've known her and her son for 22 years (I suddenly feel very, very old) and love them both dearly! BTW, she was your age when we met.

My intuition told me instantly that you're someone worth taking a long time to get to know, and I'm learning not to doubt it as it just gets mne into (more) trouble :-). Who knows, If I ever get the courage to bungee down at Nevis I might be able to cajole ya into being my witness.
Don't know if you've read them but someone with your love of language and intelectual flexibility and acuity would probably love Jasper Fforde's series of Thursday Next adventures.
Anyway, should probably go and pretend to do some work.
