Glad to hear you're settled in okay. It's all a bit like when I got KO'd playing rugby. Apparently the coach pulled me up by the front of the jumper and asked me what day it was. My reply "Today". His response "Good enough for me, get back in the game son." Or at least so my best mate told me a couple of days later.
Oh, talking about computers, I'm sitting here at my desk staring at an old P3 running Win'98 that does actually have a CD drive but it works only when it feels like it! =0) I don't even have a scroll mouse.
You're not anitsocial either just by-the-by. You probably just like things they way you like them - simple as that. I've been at this company for 18 years and never been to a Christmas party or drinks after work, etc, etc. The social highlight of my week is doing the grocery shopping on a Friday night. I actually only learned how to talk to people in the last 2 years and still have trouble with people I don't really know. Probably only speak to my parents every couple of months, my sisters never and I've maybe three real friends.
Not only have I never been out of the country, I've never been to uni either! Left high school in 1982 and did a Diploma of Project Management in 2003 and that it the only course I've ever managed to complete (long history of self sabotage and self doubt).
