My friend didn't have much to add. He thought, perhaps, it could be the ISP at your end or the other end. He said they can sometimes "strip" graphic files from messages.
I'm not sure he gave the problem has full attention. He's very motivated when "his" system crashes but he acts like a distracted muse when its someone else's problem. Gee, I'm mean.
Actually, he's saved my bacon on several occasions (ocassions?). Does anyone else have trouble spelling "occasion"? I sometimes spell it with two c's, two s's or both. Sometimes I avoid the word and just say "frequently".
