What a horrible experience! I'm glad you have other people/options to help you wean off the Effexor.
Why do you think this guy was so insistent that you could ONLY come in on that one day? (So weird!) Did you have any presentiment of such instability the other times you talked to him, or did this just pop up out of the blue?
Definitely scary!
