1. My husband can be an unbelievably caring, compassionate man who knows when and how he needs to be strong for me. I love him so much my heart aches.
2. I get to spend all sorts of time with my wonderful son. I will read story upon story. We will go to the park. I'll take him to the zoo. We will spend more time at the childrens' museum. I will bring him to visit all of the relatives that we usually can't visit as much as we'd like. Added bonus, it's summer and we can swim a lot. Hmm, I love him so much my heart aches.
3. I no longer have to dread going into the office each day to work for someone who wanted me to manage "my" staff but consistantly reminded everyone that "we do not work in a democracy".
4. I will find a better place to work.
5. My neighbor is moving 2 1/2 hours away, but now we will be able to go visit her without me having to take a vacation day from work.
6. I got an absolutely lovely post from kk earlier today and it makes me smile everytime I read it.
7. I already have plans to make a yummy lasagna for dinner tomorrow. Now, being at home with a 2-year old probably won't allow a ton of time for cooking, but I'm really hoping I'll be able to do at least a little more than I have been when I've been getting home at 6:00 each day.
8. My ex-boss already told me he is going to dispute my claim for unemployment, so I'm going to have a fight on my hands. I'm hoping this will just be a good exercise in self-restraint and learning to keep my confidence intact.
9. So far, this has been quite a reminder of the fabulous support systems I have all around me and I'm feeling quite loved and cared for. This includes all of you Babblers. Thank you *so* very much!
10. That which does not kill us only makes us stonger.
