And folks had signatures in their posts, plus little GIF animations in their signatures, and avatars, many of them animated, so the whole page was like 90% fluff and 10% content. I found it hard to read. I like the minimalist, text-only format here better.
I guess what I liked was the board was free of controversy, because the admin stuff was hidden. All the energy we divert here into admin arguments just wasn't visible there. But then again, I realized that made it a little dull, too. No drama. Sometimes I need a little drama.
