Sometimes I try a news ban on myself since I just get sickened by human behaviour, and then I think I'm trying to cushion myself or worse, be in denial of the world we must live in.
I remember growing up that my mum would turn off the t.v. whenever coverage of Viet Nam would be on. She said that I didn't need to learn about war. How sad that I believe every generation will be learning about war for the forseeable future.
