Yes Shadows, I am CERTAIN you have recourse of several types available to you. When this doc sees that you are becoming informed of your rights and remedies I wouldn't be surprised if he puts his tail between his legs and just slithers away. But regardless, it all looks so blatant to me that hopefully it won't be an especially complicated battle.
I wish I had something concrete to say, but did want to express how sorry I am to hear about this. It involves stress on so many different levels that it has to be particularly hard to block out and get through the day. I'm pulling for you!
