Sounds like it may be time for a wake-up call? Now, I'm against brutal force, but is there something you can do to wake her up earlier? I mean, if it comes to it, throw cold water on her. I'm sure she'll get the message after the second time. It may not be pretty, but it'll get her out of bed and it's not harmful. Then again, I'm not a parent and am not ready to be either.

With my boyfriend, who would be late every day if he could be, I pull the covers off of him. That gives him the message fast, especially if it's cold outside. Maybe try that before the water.

You may not win brownie points now, but I assure you when she gets older, she'll appreciate a mother who cares enough about her education and starting the "right" kind of patterns for not being tardy.

My mother always used to sing this annoying song until I got out of bed. And I hated it, but I now have NO problems getting out of bed in the morning, because she taught me the importance of getting up on time.

Hopefully someone else has some better suggestions for you. But, if you leave it up to her, she'll care less. She is 15 you know..
