I just got a call from a prof here asking about another prof's seminar - that, OF COURSE, I knew nothing about, b/c no one notified me. I don't know how I'm supposed to keep track of all that's going on when people don't let me know - this wasn't a regularly scheduled seminar, it is a special thing, and there's an automatic email that goes out weekly to the dept. asking them to submit info for the upcoming week if they have events or travel or whatnot. But do they? Rarely. Rarely rarely do I ever find out what's going on. ARGH!!!!!!

I sent an email to the head of communications for the college that oversees our dept. telling her that I was receiving questions from folks about the new graphic id and could she please keep me in the loop and could she please let me know when they might have an electronic version of the new logo ready that I might have? I hope I hear something from her soon, but I'm not holding my breath.
I don't know how soon I'll be heading back to school - I need to retake the GRE and apply to master of social work programs, but my plan is to get my MSW and become a child therapist. AND eventually, at some point, to have my own practice. And be my own boss. Cuz I really need that!!!!!
