I never wrap very neatly. They're only gonna tear it off anyway, right? Don't sweat it. The cat fur will give it a personal touch. :)
At an office grab bag, I wrapped my contribution that morning in like 2 minutes and it looked so messy that no one wanted it and it was left as the very last gift. The guy who had to take it was absolutely delighted - it was a small halogen desk lamp.
