Wrapping gifts

I have a pile of presents on the table to be wrapped before a party tonight. The cats are chewing on the paper and making off with bows, I have to decide to just use ragged paper with fur stuck to the tape or just give up and shove them in plastic grocery or garbage bags.
With one exception, the people the gifts are for don't know that I'm a psychological mess and won't get why I'm just not into making things all pretty and merry and bright. On the other hand they would understand cat fur on the gifts.
Force myself to wrap or not?
