Hi,

I have suffered from major depression and have gone unmedicated. But that was earlier in my 20s. And yes, I pulled out of it.

I don't like the idea of meds at all, either, but this past time, I was sooooo depressed I just couldn't function. Not at all. And it took over a year to figure out what meds might work for me. Wellbutrin has really been helpful now. I *wish* I could get off of it, but the fear of the extraordinary pain of depression is too big.

The proper medication can do you a world of good. Why don't you try them, try to get better, and then discuss with your doctor whether you can stop taking them at a future date.

You don't deserve to be in so much pain. There are ways out of it....

Thinking of ya,

Susan
