Yes, that was Hitchcock's daughter in STRANGERS ON A TRAIN. Her name is Patricia Hitchcock. Alfred Hitchcock makes cameo appearances in many of his movies, too. He's often in crowd scenes. It's fun to try to find him.

Regarding PONETTE, I read that there was a lot of controversy when the movie was released because many critics felt that the 4-year-old child must have been manipulated and exploited by the director. They said she was too young to "act," so they assumed she had been manipulated into acting.
